Iconography Restoration Project

In 2014, the church began an icon restoration project to revitalize our Iconostasis. As part of the project, several new icons were donated by our parishioners in order to facilitate our worship by reminding ourselves of God's presence and His everlasting love for all of us. Entering the church, these icons truly help us experience the events during the life of Christ and elicit the presence of the saints. When we venerate an icon, we show our respect and love for the figures depicted on the icon, such as the saints, the Theotokos, and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Icons also serve to remind us that our Church's traditions trace back thousands of years, and we are part of this larger body of believers that has existed through time.

We thank everyone who has contributed to this project so far and invite donations to fund new icons. These icons could be donated on behalf of an individual, a family, and/or in memory of a loved one. Ο Αρχάγγελος Γαβριήλ - The Archangel Gabriel - to be displayed at the main entrance of the church, visible from the outside - available for donation

Ο Ιησούς Χριστός, ο ων - Jesus Christ, the One who is - to be displayed at the main entrance of the church, visible from the outside - available from donation

Ο Άγιος Ιωάννης ο Πρόδρομος - St. John the Forerunner - to be displayed at the main entrance of the church, visible from the outside - available for donation

The icons of the Theotokos, Christ, and St. John the Forerunner, as they appear all together. The icons of Christ and St. John are available for donation, as indicated above. The icon of the Theotokos has already been generously donated.

The following icons have been generously donated by our parishioners. As we are still receiving donations, we will not yet list the names of this project's contributors on this website due to the risk of excluding someone. At the completion of the project, we will properly recognize everyone who has sponsored an icon. More photos will be added to this page shortly.
